The Pre-Purchase Structural Assessment is the foundation of all our inspections and was designed primarily for the budget minded person and is a must for all types of homes. It covers the fundamental performance of the Primary Load Bearing (structural) componentry of a building, where, if structural deficiencies are discovered, can be costly to repair. This is also one of the least expensive written reporting formats and offers a sense of security. The report is short and concise and is ready for immediate e-mailing if requested, followed by a hard copy.
The Pre-Purchase Structural – PLUS Assessment also covers the fundamental performance of the Primary Load Bearing (structural) componentry of a building, as above, but has been specifically developed to include additional comments, recommending discretionary improvements and hints on Non Structural maintenance items including damp testing (if requested). Digital Photos taken during the inspection and are e-mailed, in conjunction with the report.
Items inspected – all performance based & if accessible
- Main Roof & Ceiling frame structure – including tie-downs where required.
- Footings, Foundation, posts, piers, intermediate members, flooring & sub-floor where applicable.
- External & Internal brickwork or lining – plus damp testing if requested
